Terms of Use

WebEdit · Effective date: 28 October 2026

Important: WebEdit is an independently hosted portal operated for the RDPS community. It is not the official ArtCraft website and is not represented as being endorsed, sponsored or operated by the ArtCraft team.

1. Who provides WebEdit?

“WebEdit” means this portal at webedit.rdpsrajmarg.com and the links it provides to browser-based editing applications. The portal is hosted independently by RDPS (“the portal operator”). ArtCraft, GridCraft, WordCraft and DeckCraft names refer to their respective projects and rights holders. The applications are separate open-source projects; they are not owned by the portal operator.

2. The applications and their licences

GridCraft, WordCraft and DeckCraft are open-source applications from the ArtCraft team and contributors. The supplied application packages identify the core applications as dual-licensed under the MIT License or the Apache License 2.0, at the user's option. Bundled fonts and other third-party assets may have separate licences.

These Terms govern your use of the WebEdit portal; they do not replace, amend or override the software licences. Applicable licence texts and attribution notices are included with the respective application folders and must remain available when required by those licences. If you copy, modify or redistribute an application, you are responsible for following its applicable licence and preserving required notices.

Official project information: ArtCraft Crafting Apps · GridCraft source · WordCraft source · DeckCraft source.

3. Independent hosting; no endorsement

WebEdit is an independent convenience portal that links to locally hosted web builds. ArtCraft and its contributors do not operate this portal merely because their software is offered here. The ArtCraft name and application names are used to identify the relevant software; no ownership of those names or marks is claimed by WebEdit. Product features, branding, versions and availability may change upstream. The portal operator may change, suspend or remove access to a hosted build at any time.

4. Who may use the service?

You may use WebEdit for lawful personal, educational, school and business work, subject to these Terms and the applicable software licences. If you are a minor, use the service with any supervision or permission required by your parent, guardian or school.

5. Your files and work

6. Acceptable use

You must not use WebEdit or the applications to:

The portal operator may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the site, users or third-party rights.

7. Sponsored school notices and external links

WebEdit may display clearly labelled sponsored notices or advertisements relating to RDPS, school admissions, events or other school communications. These notices help support the cost of providing free access. An advertisement does not change the open-source licence of an application. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, for which their operators are responsible.

8. Privacy and browser behaviour

The portal does not currently require a WebEdit account. The static portal's ad configuration panel may store settings in your browser's local storage on that device. Those settings are not automatically shared with other visitors. Hosting providers may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser information and request logs as part of serving the site. The applications run in your browser, but their precise handling of files, browser storage, permissions and network requests depends on each build and browser. Do not use the service for sensitive or confidential material unless you have assessed whether it is appropriate.

WebEdit does not promise that no technical data is processed by the hosting provider or browser. If analytics, third-party advertising technology or additional data collection is introduced later, the portal operator should update the relevant privacy notice before enabling it.

9. Availability, changes and disclaimers

The portal and applications are provided free of charge, on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the extent permitted by law. The software may contain bugs, be incomplete or change without notice. The portal operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every device or file, or the preservation of your work. You should verify important calculations, documents and exported files before relying on them.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a consumer right or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the portal operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, lost work or losses arising from temporary unavailability or software defects.

10. Suspension and changes to these Terms

We may update the portal, these Terms or the available applications as needed. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the portal.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are intended to be interpreted consistently with applicable laws of India, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to you. Disputes will be handled by a court or authority with jurisdiction under applicable law.

For questions about the WebEdit portal, contact the RDPS website administrator through the school's official contact channels. For the applications themselves, use the project links above; WebEdit is not the software authors' support channel.

Legal note: This is a practical draft for the portal, not a legal opinion. Before public launch—particularly if the portal will be used by children or display third-party advertising—have the final terms and privacy disclosures reviewed for your school's actual operating arrangements and applicable law.
